I was privileged to work on the epic Opera North "Height of the Reeds" sound installation which spanned the Humber Bridge and took place as part of Hull City of Culture 2017. 

The Humber is the longest single span bridge in the world which is possible to cross by foot and it provided a dramatic backdrop for the sound experience which guests listened to whilst traversing across. Hidden sounds of the bridge and surrounding natural environment were uncovered to create a highly atmospheric and evocative sound journey. The Bridge has very strong connections for the people of Hull and the installation was extremely well received with many feeling deeply moved by the experience. 

City of Culture takes place every four years in the UK to promote arts and culture as a means of celebration and regeneration.
