About

/01

Commissioned for Wembley Park, Slideatron was an 18-metre immersive installation that combined light, architecture, and play. Constructed from scaffolding and illuminated with programmable LED light, it transformed the public realm during the festive season while signalling Wembley Park's emergence as a new cultural destination. Part seasonal intervention, part public artwork, the project invited visitors to experience the familiar landscape in a different light.

Ideation & Concept Development.

Working on concepts for a large-scale public activation combining the Christmas season with Wembley Park's emerging identity as a cultural destination, I drew on my knowledge of contemporary digital arts to propose a monumental, light-based reimagining of the traditional Christmas tree. My ongoing work with placemaking agency Produce UK followed an artist residency at Pervasive Media Studio, where I had explored creative technology and interactive practice. I brought this thinking into a series of concepts and pitches for public activations, combining creative technology, light-based installation and an accessible, arts-led approach shaped by my earlier work in public art and heritage. Slideatron went on to receive a Drum Award for Experiential Brand Campaign of the Year.
